Installing King IPTV Pro on Kodi: IPTV Simple Client Setup

9 July 20265 min read

Kodi is one of the most flexible ways to run King IPTV Pro — once it's set up, your channels sit inside Kodi's own interface alongside its program guide, rather than in a separate app.

What you'll need

  • The latest version of Kodi installed on your device
  • An active King IPTV Pro subscription with your M3U playlist URL
  • A connection of at least 10 Mbps for HD channels

Step-by-step setup

Open Kodi and go to Settings > Add-ons, then enable Unknown Sources so Kodi can install add-ons outside its official repository. Go to Add-ons > Install from repository > PVR clients, and install IPTV Simple Client. Open its configuration, paste your M3U playlist URL into the M3U Play List URL field, and save.

Restart Kodi, then enable the IPTV Simple Client add-on from My PVR Add-ons if it isn't already active. Your channels will appear under the TV section on Kodi's home screen within a minute or two.

Troubleshooting

  • No channels showing: recheck the M3U URL for typos and restart Kodi again
  • Buffering: lower the stream quality in IPTV Simple Client's advanced settings
  • Add-on won't install: update Kodi to the latest version first

Kodi runs on nearly anything — Fire TV, Android boxes, PCs, even Raspberry Pi — so if you're setting it up on a specific device, our installation guide has device-specific notes, and WhatsApp support is there if a step doesn't match what you're seeing.
